We've spent twenty-five years leading groups and the last few years living full-time in Casa de Camino, our Coachmen Apex travel trailer. We share what we've learned so you can plan smarter and travel further.

Our story

How we got here.

It started, like most adventures, with a question we couldn't shake. After twenty-five years leading teams, we wanted to know what life would look like if "the trip" wasn't a vacation but the way we lived. So we sold the house, named the trailer, and started driving.

The first year was hard. The second was easier. By the third we'd walked our first Camino, learned to weld a leveling jack at midnight in a Wyoming campground, and figured out that the thing we missed most about our old jobs — leading people through hard, meaningful experiences — could come with us.

Cruisin' with the Colemans is what came out the other side. Group walks. Planning help for solo pilgrims. Caravans in the works. Talks and workshops along the way. The trips are different but the work is the same: helping curious people do hard, beautiful things they'd never quite get to on their own.

Casa de Camino

"House of the Journey."

Casa de Camino is our Coachmen Apex travel trailer and our full-time home. She's been our base camp across all 48 contiguous states and the launchpad for every Camino so far. You'll see her in our videos, on the blog, and on the road.

The name is Spanish for "House of the Journey" — fitting, given how much of our journey she's carried.
