travelers ask us most.

Group travel basics.
How large are your groups?
We cap every group at twelve adults. Small enough to fit around one table; large enough for the right group dynamics.
What's included in the trip price?
Lodging, luggage transfers, daily route navigation, on-trip leadership, group meals where noted, and pre-trip planning calls. Flights and travel insurance are separate.
How fit do I need to be?
You should be able to walk 15-20 km a day with a light daypack, comfortably. We send a training plan four months out.
Can my partner come if they don't want to walk every day?
Yes. Many of our groups include partners who walk some stages and meet us at the next town on others. We help you plan that.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Tell us early and we work it into lodging and meal selections. Pilgrim routes are accommodating in most cases — we know the menus.
Bookings & payments.
How does pre-registration work?
Pre-registration is non-binding. It tells us you're seriously interested. We follow up with full details, dates, and pricing before any payment is collected.
When are deposits and full payments due?
A 25% deposit holds your spot. Full payment is due 90 days before departure.
What's your cancellation policy?
Deposits are refundable up to 6 months before departure. Beyond that, we refund what we can recover from lodging holds and transfers.
Do you offer trip insurance?
We strongly recommend it but don't sell it. We can point you to providers our travelers have used.
Walking pilgrimages.
Do I carry my own pack?
Just a daypack. Luggage transfers move your main bag between lodgings each day.
What kind of lodging do you book?
Hand-picked guesthouses, small hotels, and the occasional historic albergue. Private rooms with private bathrooms, except where the route truly calls for the traditional pilgrim hostel experience.
How many kilometers do we walk per day?
Most stages are 15-22 km. We share the day-by-day breakdown four months ahead so you know exactly what to expect.
What if I get injured mid-trip?
We have contingency plans, local medical contacts, and the ability to transfer you ahead by taxi if you need to skip a stage. You're never stranded.
Planning assistance & RV.
How does planning assistance work?
You tell us the route and dates. We build the plan — stages, lodging holds, packing list, prep notes. You walk on your own and we stay reachable for questions.
Do you plan custom group trips?
Sometimes. Send us a note with what you have in mind.
When will RV caravans launch?
We're scouting routes through 2026 with first caravans tentatively in 2027. The interest list gets dates first.
Can you plan a route you haven't walked?
Yes, on a case-by-case basis. We're transparent about whether you're getting personal experience or careful research.
Still have questions?
We answer every email personally — usually same day.
